They agree once you know what Sorona is — a PTT polyester made partly from plant-derived PDO, sold under that trade name. Care

• Machine washable — the maker lists 可机洗 — but keep it cold and turn it inside out, because piqué pills against itself in a warm drum.

• Cool iron the collar from the underside. Pressing the face of a piqué flattens the texture that is the point of it.
