These terms cover the use of this website and the way TAVERRIN trades. The catalogue on this site is an invitation to enquire, not an offer to sell.

How an order is formed

You send an enquiry; we confirm what is available and quote you in writing; and a contract exists once you accept that written quote. The quote carries the terms for that order — price, quantity, lead time, shipping basis and payment — and where the quote and this page disagree, the quote governs.

Prices and availability

Unit prices shown in the catalogue are reference figures in US dollars, before freight, duty and any local taxes. They are not a quotation, and they move with the maker, the material and the exchange rate. Availability changes constantly, so the written quote is the only statement of price or stock to rely on.

Minimum order

The minimum is ten units per style. Mixing styles inside an order is normal; the minimum applies per style, not per order.

Photographs and specifications

Photographs are of the real pieces. Colour, scale and finish read differently on a screen, and handmade goods vary from unit to unit. Where a figure such as a measurement or a weight matters to your order, ask us to confirm it in writing before you commit.

Names and marks

Brand and designer names are used only to describe a piece accurately where that is genuinely relevant — never to suggest an affiliation or a licence. If you believe something here misuses your mark, write to us and we will correct or remove it.

Liability

We are responsible for supplying what the quote describes. We are not responsible for losses beyond that — in particular lost profit, or loss caused by goods being held in customs or delayed in transit, which are outside our control. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Which law applies

Where the law applying to a particular order matters, it is named in the written quote for that order, alongside the payment and shipping terms it sits with. If a dispute arises, our first step is to talk it through directly.
