Skirted Three-Piece Swim Set

Three pieces in one ribbed fabric: a bandeau top gathered at the centre front behind a gold-tone shell clasp, a high-waist brief cut high on the leg, and a sarong that ties over the hip so the set reads as a dress when it is worn. The rib is fine and even, which is what gives the pieces their shape without a seam. Eight colourways are filed — mocha, white, orange, yellow, rose red, black, army green and red — while only the mocha appears in the photographs, so the other seven are listed on the strength of the colour codes alone. Three pieces, one clasp

The bandeau closes on a single clasp at the centre front and nothing else holds the top on, so that clasp is the component to test. It is also the piece that makes the set — take it off and you have a standard ribbed bikini.

Eight colours, one photograph

The colour field lists eight codes but the frames show mocha only. Selling the other seven means trusting a code on a screen; for a first order, ask for a swatch of each before you print a colour card.

Care

• Rinse all three pieces in cold water after wear and dry them flat in shade.
• Keep the gold clasp away from chlorine for long periods; rinse and dry it after every swim.
