Embroidered Clasp Frame Bag
Embroidered Clasp Frame Bag
A small rigid frame bag covered in an embroidered jacquard — large flower heads worked in a raised thread over a ground that shifts between cream and gold as it turns. The frame is metal, closed on a kiss-lock clasp at the top, and the handle is a rigid arch of graduated beads with small gold beads where it meets the body. Inside there is a divider and a document slip, so it holds a phone, a card case and a lipstick and little else. Three colours are filed — ivory, blue and teal — and each comes in four handle options, from the plain top handle to a long chain and a short pearl strand; the pearl-handled version is the one photographed.
- Colour: Ivory, blue, teal
- Material: An embroidered floral jacquard over a rigid frame
Why we chose it
Because an embroidered frame bag sells as occasion wear in every market this catalogue reaches, and the beaded handle is the photograph.
Care
- Store it stuffed and upright — a rigid frame dents at the corners if the bag is pressed flat.
- Keep the embroidery away from velcro and jewellery clasps; the raised thread catches.
- Wipe the metal frame with a dry cloth only, and close the clasp before it goes in the dust bag.
