Musical-Note Claw Clip
Musical-Note Claw Clip
A big claw clip drawn as a musical stave — a treble clef with note heads and a swirl worked into the body of the clip, so the fastening itself is the ornament. It is sized for a full head of hair rather than a half-up, which is the point: the clip has to hold, and the shape has to read from behind. Made in black, cream and tortoiseshell. (Material and exact dimensions: DETAILS TO BE CONFIRMED with the stall.)
The shape
A treble clef and notes cut as one piece, with the claw teeth set along the bottom edge. It reads instantly from across a room — which is what a hair accessory has to do.
Sized to hold
Large enough for a whole head of hair, not a half-up. Claw clips came back because they hold and because they photograph; a small one does neither.
Three finishes
Black, cream and tortoiseshell — the tortoiseshell being the one that reads as vintage rather than plastic.

Why we chose it
Because claw clips held their place as the accessory of the year, and this one has a real shape rather than being a plain plastic jaw.
