Moissanite Solitaire Ring
Moissanite Solitaire Ring
A single-stone ring on an open shank, sold in a red velvet box and priced for volume. The title files it as 真莫桑钻, real moissanite, and in the same breath as 婚礼仪式婚纱照道具 — a prop for ceremonies and bridal photography — which is an unusually honest pairing and the way the listing should be read: a ring that photographs like a bridal solitaire at bridal-shoot money. The colour field is not a colour list. It files ten SKU bundles: a ladies’ six-claw ring or a side-stone ring, a 40-point or a 10-point men’s band, each with no box, a single velvet box, two boxes, or a pair box, and some bundles carrying a 证书, a certificate. Sizing is filed 均码, one size, and the shank is open so it adjusts. What the table never states is 材质 or 镶嵌材质 — the metal and the stone are both the maker’s word, and at this price a buyer should assume the certificate is worth more than the stone until a tester says otherwise. Origin filed as 郑州, season 2023春季.

- Sizes: One adjustable size (尺码=均码), open shank
- Material: Not filed — the listing publishes no 材质 row
What a prop listing tells you
A seller who files their own product as a photography prop is telling you where the volume comes from: bridal studios, e-commerce shoots, styled tables. That is a real market and a legitimate one, and it also sets the expectation — this is jewellery that has to look right on camera, not necessarily jewellery that survives a decade of daily wear.
The certificate question
Some bundles include a 证书. A certificate is only as good as the lab behind it, and the listing does not name one, so the sensible move is to ask which laboratory issues it and whether the stone can be tested on arrival. Moissanite is distinguishable from diamond with a cheap tester, which makes this one of the few claims in the whole 我的收藏 folder that can be settled in the receiving bay rather than in email.
Why we chose it
Because it is sold as what it is — a prop-grade bridal ring — and a buyer who knows that can price it honestly at the till instead of inheriting someone else’s claim.
Care
- Keep it dry and take it off for washing up — an unstated plating is the part that dulls first.
- Store it in the box it ships in; loose in a tray, a solitaire scratches everything softer beside it.
- Clean the stone with warm water and a drop of washing-up liquid, then dry it with a soft cloth rather than a tissue.
