Drawstring Leather Bucket Bag
Drawstring Leather Bucket Bag
A bucket bag that closes on a drawstring, which is what gives it its shape: pull the cord and the top gathers into soft folds, let it go and the bag stands open and wide. It carries two ways — short on the top handle, or over the shoulder on the single strap — and the leather is finished with a fine lychee grain that reads as texture rather than shine. It is made in split cowhide, the lower layer of the hide: real leather, and priced accordingly, which is why it is stated plainly rather than dressed up as top grain. Inside there is a zip pocket and a phone pocket, and the body is soft enough to sit close when it is full. Eight colours, each photographed on its own, in a large and a small. (Large 26 × 16 × 36 cm, 900 g. Small 18 × 11 × 26 cm, 600 g — the supplier's own published figures.)
The drawstring
One cord does the work: pulled in, the top gathers and the bag becomes a soft bucket; let out, it opens flat and holds more than its size suggests.
Two sizes, weighed
Large at 26 × 16 × 36 cm and 900 g, small at 18 × 11 × 26 cm and 600 g. Published by the supplier, not estimated — so you know what a carton costs to ship before you order it.
Eight colours
Coffee, gold-brown, off-white, black, brick red, wine red, elephant grey and rice-apricot — each photographed separately, so the swatch you pick is the bag you get.
Details
- Colour: Coffee · Gold-brown · Off-white · Black · Brick red · Wine red · Elephant grey · Rice-apricot
- Size: Large (大号) · Small (小号)
- Material: Split cowhide (二层牛皮) with a lychee-grain finish; poly-cotton lining
Care
- Wipe with a soft dry cloth; a little leather conditioner once or twice a year.
- Keep out of prolonged direct sun and away from radiators — the grain will dry and crack.
- Store filled and upright so the bucket shape holds.
Why we chose it
Because it is the first bag in the leather search that was neither a designer knock-off nor a thirty-yuan throwaway — and because the supplier publishes the two sizes and their weights, which means a buyer can price the freight before committing.
One piece is fine. Buy a single piece at the price shown, or ask for a trade quote from ten units — written by a person, never read off a table.
