Enamel-Dial Bangle Watch

A twenty-three millimetre round dial hung inside a slim bangle rather than on a strap, closing with a jewellery clasp: worn, it reads as a bracelet first and a watch second, which is the point of the shape. The maker files six dial colours — purple, black, pink, blue, white and green — all on the same steel-tone bangle, so the range is one piece of metalwork with six faces. The crystal is mineral glass and the crown is push-pull. Water resistance is filed at ten metres, which is splash resistance: a wash and a splash are fine, a shower and a swim are not. The bangle itself is filed as an alloy rather than stainless steel, so this page does not call it steel. The movement is filed only as a domestic movement with no calibre. The dial carries the maker mark gedi; the same stall states it will print a buyer logo, so a private-label order can be quoted with a plain dial. A bracelet with a dial in it

Bangle watches sell on the wrist, not in the flat image, and this one is small enough not to fight the jewellery it sits next to. That is what makes it work in a wholesale order: it can go in the accessories range beside bracelets rather than in the watch case, and it stacks on the same arm as the pearl and clover lines already on this site.

Six faces, one metal

Six dial colours on one bangle means a buyer can order a small quantity of each and still have a colour wall. The frames photograph three of them, so treat purple, white and green as filed-not-seen and ask for a photo of the actual dials before a large order.

• Ten metres is splash resistance: no swimming, no showering, and keep the crown pushed in.
