Double-Breasted Knit Cardigan
Double-Breasted Knit Cardigan
This is a cardigan that behaves like a jacket and is built like a sweater. The collar is a wide shawl that folds back on itself, the shoulders drop, and the front crosses over in two columns of four knit-covered buttons — a closure you usually find on tailoring, made here in yarn rather than cloth. The whole body is ribbed vertically, hem to collar, with a deep rib at the cuff and the waist, which is what holds the shape when it is worn open. The stall publishes no fibre at all — the title says 毛线, yarn, and nylon appears once in the page text with nothing against it — so we describe what the photographs show and leave the composition open. It comes in black and in coffee, and the size table is written in body weight rather than chest measurement, which is the one number the stall actually gives.
Two rows of buttons on a knit
A double-breasted closure pulls the front across the body and holds it there, which is why it reads as a coat rather than a cardigan. On a knit it also does something a zip cannot: the crossing point can be moved, so the same garment sits closer or looser depending on which button is used.
Ribbed the whole way down
The vertical rib runs the full length of the body and the sleeves, with a deep rib at the hem and the cuff. Ribbing is what gives a knit its memory — it is the part that springs back — which is why the hem here is three times deeper than a plain one.
Sold by weight, not by chest
The stall lists six sizes as body-weight bands, from M at 50–62 kg to 4XL at 100–110 kg, and prints no chest, sleeve or length measurement anywhere. We have repeated the bands exactly as written rather than converting them into numbers of our own.

Care
- The listing declares no fibre, so treat this as a delicate knit: cool hand wash, no bleach, dry flat rather than hung.
- A ribbed knit keeps its shape only if it is stored folded — a hanger will stretch the shoulders within a season.
- De-pill with a knit comb rather than a razor, and only after the first few wears: a new rib always sheds a little.
Why we chose it
Because it is a jacket shape made in yarn — a shawl collar and a double-breasted front, done in a heavy rib — and because the stall showed it both flat and on a body in each of the two colourways it actually sells.
