Diamond-Quilt Mini Bag

A small bag with a diamond quilt stitched into a stiff face. The quilting is a stitched seam rather than a moulded one, which is what makes the diamonds hold their edges; the maker files the hardness as 中偏硬 to match. The lining is polyester-cotton, the only non-synthetic lining in this batch, and the bag files as 小. Four colours: black, off-white, pink and red. No dimension is published.

Why we chose it

Because a stitched quilt is the one detail that separates a bag that looks like it cost something from a bag that looks like it cost nothing, and here it costs three dollars a unit.

Care

• Wipe with a soft dry cloth. PU takes a scuff as a mark rather than a scratch — rub it back with a fingertip before reaching for anything wet.
• Keep it out of direct sun and away from radiators. A coated face yellows before it cracks, and both are permanent.
• Store it filled lightly and standing, so the face keeps its line between seasons.
