Brushed Wool-Blend Trouser
Brushed Wool-Blend Trouser
These are the trousers for the cold half of the year: a brushed woollen blend with a soft nap, cut wide enough to fall straight from the hip and break once over the shoe, with an elasticated top edge hidden under four belt loops and a single button at the centre front. There is no fly, which is why they pull on and sit flat, and why the waistband can be as soft as it is. Each leg is pressed with a light crease so the width reads as tailoring rather than as a track pant. The composition is where this pair has to be described carefully: the title calls the cloth 羊绒, cashmere, and the attribute data on the same page names 绵羊毛 at 30%以下 — under thirty per cent wool, with the rest unpublished. We print the stall’s own figure and mark the balance DETAILS TO BE CONFIRMED. Sizes are Chinese waist numbers with body-weight ranges and no centimetres, so the measurements below stay open rather than guessed at.
The title says cashmere. The table says under thirty per cent wool.
Both are on the same page. 高档橄榄绿羊绒阔腿裤 reads the title; 面料名称 绵羊毛 together with 主面料成分含量 30%以下 reads the attribute data the stall filled in itself. A woollen trouser at this price with a thirty-per-cent floor is a believable garment; cashmere is not, so the number we repeat is the table’s, and the rest of the blend is left open.
Brushed, so the cloth stands up
The surface has been brushed after weaving, which pulls fibres up out of the cloth and gives it the pale haze you can see across the olive and the mustard. That nap is what makes a mid-weight trouser feel like a winter one: it traps air, it softens the light instead of reflecting it, and it hides the crease marks that a smooth cloth would keep.
It pulls on, and that is the point
There is no fly in any of the frames — just an elasticated top edge under belt loops and one button. From the outside it reads as a tailored trouser, because the belt loops and the pressed crease are doing that work, but the waistband itself gives. The stall lists six waist sizes by body weight alone, so we say that rather than convert 斤 into centimetres it never published.

- Material: Wool blend — the stall’s own attribute data names 绵羊毛 as the main fibre at 30%以下, under thirty per cent. The rest of the composition is DETAILS TO BE CONFIRMED. The same listing’s title calls this cloth 羊绒, which the attribute table does not support
- Fit: Wide leg with a soft break over the shoe, a covered elastic top edge, belt loops and one button at the centre front. Each leg carries a soft pressed crease
Care
- Brush or steam it rather than washing it; the nap lifts back into place with steam and a soft brush.
- If it does need cleaning, dry clean it whole. The elastic in the top edge will not survive a tumble dryer.
- Hang it from the waistband by the belt loops. Folding a brushed cloth along the same line leaves a permanent mark in the nap.
Why we chose it
Because the cloth has been brushed into a real winter nap, in four deep colours that were all photographed, and because the stall printed a fibre figure of its own — under thirty per cent wool — that quietly refuses the cashmere in its own title.
